DIY hair care at home
Who
doesn’t love shining and silky smooth hairs?? Yes, we all love and desire the
hairs which catch every person’s eye. But the main hindrance in achieving the
goal is we all are not gifted with the perfectly smooth hairs. Some of us have
got straight hairs and others might have hairs with curl or wave in it.
Although
we all want our hairs to become shiny silkier and smoother that too without
much efforts; it’s actually not impossible to get that with little care and
attention to them.
Today
we are going to learn the very important hair care routine or habit which will improve
the quality of your hairs.
Oil massage
Oil
massage is very beneficial to our hairs. Some will think “Eh, oil massage??
Eew..!! The sticky smelly oil in our hairs???” Yes my friends, our hairs needs
food like we all do. Our body needs oxygen for proper functioning likewise our
hairs needs nourishment in the form of oil. Massaging your hairs for 10-15
minutes before you take shower gives them shine and nourishment.
Direction:
Take
half a cup of coconut, sesame, olive, Castor or any other oil of your choice and
heat it in the microwave. No need to boil it, just take lukewarm oil and if you
have dandruff trouble then add a spoonful of lemon juice to it.
Apply on your
hair roots and press with gentle fingers into circular motion. Massage for at
least 10-15 minutes then apply the oil from your hair’s root to tip and let it rest
like that for a while.
Then take a clean
towel and dip it into hot water and wrap it around your head let it rest until
it cools down. Repeat this method two more time. The wrapping of towel dipped
in hot water will provide a good steam therapy on your hair roots make sure to
be cautious of the heat and don’t get burnt by it. After 5 - 10 minutes wash your hairs like you regularly do.
This procedure will
strengthen your hairs and will help them to grow healthy. It makes your scalp
clean and opens up the clogged pores and cleans out the root of your hairs.
Every
time when you wash your hairs repeat this process if you wash your hairs daily
then you can try this twice a week.
